The essential oil is obtained from the fresh pericarp of the fruit and has a citrusy, fresh, intense, and pleasant orange fragrance.
It is used as a flavoring agent and antiseptic, serves as a detoxifier, boosts immunity, relieves constipation, aids indigestion, keeps the skin healthy and smooth, and helps treat acne and dermatitis. It is also used as a stimulant for bronchial secretions.
